This machine was started by Pete Lawrence in the 1980s and finished by a chap in the west country a few years later. Pete called it 'Nessie', after the Laverda-engined, Difazio-steered endurance racer that inspired it, along with the Honda-engined De Cortanze Elf.
Can't remember his name, but I went to see it and have some photos of it somewhere! PNB
