Here is the tensioner , a good pull got it out after the cam had been removed. I cannot see how on earth it is supposed to work, all the other bike tensioners on ebay look like a simple plunger with a locknut..nothing at all like this! Definitely categorised as an oily bit. Wedges are moving freely now after attention from the big pliers!
