Old and new

Here are a series of pictures of FJ and the 2010 Cmax intended to show how a basically similar shape has been modified both by the different machinery it has to cover, and fifteen-odd years of further experience.

The Cmax has adopted E-GP frontal bodywork rules, taking advantage of the front radiator, the resulting intake and the small front wheel, all of which makes the enclosed front easier. Also it has a fatter tail, intended to eliminate vorticies alongside FJ's tail.

Most of the other difference, especially around the headlight/screen area are the result of different light units and/or the telescopic forks afflicting the Cmax.
