Genesis meets 2 MonoTracers at 2011 Beaulieu Ride In

Beaulieu was the site of many an FF gathering in the noughties at the annual and late lamented Motorcycle World. See here: http://www.bikeweb.com/image/tid/31
The new Beaulieu Ride-In is a shadow of those events, but better than nothing, especially in the perfect weather of 26th June 2011.
The only previous time that Peraves machines made it to Beaulieu was when Arnold and Franziska Wagner visited and performed at Motorcycle World in 2000, along with a third UK-based Ecomobile owner. See here: http://www.bikeweb.com/image/tid/32
2011 was the first time that any of the new-shape Peraves MonoTracers had ever visited the hallowed ground, and the first visit for Genesis in its final incarnation. Compare and contrast with the way Genesis looked in its Mk2 version, back in 2005, which was also the first year I took my Quasar, and also the year that the ComforTmax appeared in its final incarnation: http://www.bikeweb.com/node/784
At the time that this photograph was taken Genesis had been suffering from the slow disintegration of one of its front wheel bearings for the previous ten or so miles....a known problem with Burgman 650s, especially the early ones.
FWIW, I believe this is the only time that the two UK Monotracers ever 'met'. It was definitely the only time they were both pictured with Genesis.
Thanks to Phil Mather for taking this snap with PNB's camera. From left to right, David Baber, John Brennan and Paul Blezard. PNB.
2018 UPDATE: David Baber sold his Monotracer to a bold paraplegic Frenchman.
