Voyager V05 Console

The console of Graham Robb's Voyager, with the owner visible in the mirror. You can clearly see the unique control layout, including the forefinger throttle. Built in 1989, V05's odometer shows 82,254 miles in this photo, after 22 years on the road.
The dated stickers on the screen are the vignettes required to use Swiss autobahns; most are from Graham's own continental trips but the 1991 sticker dates from the trip in March of that year when I (Paul Blezard) rode what was then SCL's demonstrator machine to Munich for the VDI (German Engineers' Institute) conference on 'The Future Motorcycle' and returned via Peraves in Switzerland, Moto Journal in Paris and Boccardo near Lille. For that trip the controls were changed to conventional handlebars at my request, because I much preferred them and they were undoubtedly more 'user friendly' for 'Voyager Virgins'.
Unique to V05 are the Veypor VR2 power and speed calculator in the centre, with the Tyrepal tyre pressure monitor above. Lots more photos of V05 and its controls on the dedicated V05 page in the Voyager folder within 'Royce Creasey's Creations.
