Vultus in Action!

As you can see from the photo, it's not difficult to ground the footboards on the Vultus if you're scratching around a roundabout for a photographer. However, the footboards do at least fold up and in practice, on the open road, it grounds much less frequently than I'd feared it might. Nevertheless, if I owned one, I would look at remounting the footboards at a less horizontal angle, slightly higher, and further forward. This would combine increased ground clearance with slightly better weather protection. Of course, the bottom of the fairing should be redesigned to protect the lower leg and foot anyway! PNB
