Fouché In GPZFF on Autoroute

This is one of the better action shots I got of Pete Fouché in his excellent GPz500 FF on the autoroute, after fiddling with my camera as seen in his shot of me in the Vultus! Shortly before this, his GPS had taken us on the wrong route to the autoroute (which we hadn't intended to use at all) and then in the wrong direction once we got on it, which cost us €7 in toll plus petrol to waste half an hour on a pointless 25 mile round trip! :-( I knew we should have stuck to using my good old fashioned map!

This photo shows how well protected Pete's feet are, at least from wind and weather, in his flimsy trainers.
Much better protected than my feet were in proper motorcycle boots on the Vultus because the Honda's fairing stops too short and narrow and leaves your feet out in the breeze! PNB

'temporary' foot protection

Yes I am a bit embarrassed that the 'temporary' foot protection has been there for so long. The intention is proper crash protection supporting something a bit more rigid. The corriboard has been 'designed' to self-destruct if you try to go too fast.

The GPS (or operator) was responsible for the wrong route. It was my mis-reading of it that put us down the autoroute in the wrong direction. I knew I shouldn't have chased that Pokémon.

Thanks to Blez for the reminder to put the correct boots on. They were in the topbox.
