Steve 'electric' Labib tries a Vultus

Steve Labib of Jozztek is a pioneer of electric motorcycles in the UK. He transformed an Aprilia 125 to electric power in 2008 and went on to build the Agni-powered GSXR-based TTX01 electric bike for Azhar Hussain which was used to promote the first electric TT in 2009. He collaborated with Agni's motor designer Cedric Lynch and went on to build several KTM RC8-based electric production racers for Hussain's company Mavizen in 2010. He has also advised the electricians and technicians of several cutting-edge companies, including Zero and Energica.
Steve was impressed by the Vultus and thought it would make a fine basis for an all-electric conversion! PNB

This man needs to know about seat backs!

Otherwise his arms will start to ache real soon! So I mailed him to tell him about this site, just in case Paul forgot.

I understand that it's unnaceptable to even suggest that Paul is working for Honda, promoting the Vulver, but is it OK to ask why he is pushing this non-FF low rider on Bileweb?

Yes, the Vultus does indeed have a seat back!

I don't know why Royce has such a blind spot about the Vultus's seat back, and such a forgetful memory about it. There are no fewer than 7 photos of the seat back clearly showing, in this self-same Vultus gallery! The close-up photo of the seat back, posted in 2014, soon received a snide Royce Creasey comment, which he must have entirely forgotten about in the intervening 2 years: http://www.bikeweb.com/node/2827
Nor do I understand why he's so anti-Vultus when he hasn't ridden one. IMHO It's no less of an FF than the ComforTmax, the ComFergMax, the Middleton GPZs or the Fouché GPZ, to name only a few converted scooters and motorcycles, and it's more of an FF than the Bananaskin, the DN-01 or any standard Helix.
As I've already said elsewhere, it ain't ideal, far from it, but it's bloody good fun to ride and reminds me of the original Flying Banana at its very best.
