Front Wheel Trajectory of Hossack-Honda

This neat diagram shows one of the principal advantages of a Hossack/Fior double wishbone system, in addition to not steering the suspension: the front wheel does not move backwards as it rises over bumps, compared to conventional telescopics. This means that engine and bodywork can be closer to the front wheel and therefore the wheelbase can be shorter than if teles are used. PNB
