This is my FF-factory Moto GP rider for 2009 - 20 kilograms out to knock Jorge Lorenzo off his perch. I think Jorge may have been on the Yamaha stand judging from the noisy crowds and the constant flash of cameras, but I knew where the real news was :)

You always expect to bump into Paul Blezard at these shows, I did not see him but thought he would love this bike, the Gas Gas Dakar.

Another brilliant BMW show innovation - you press the big red button and the recorded noise of that exhaust can on a dyno bellows out of the display, crowds flocked to the stand thinking that a real live motorbike was being revved to the max - Excellent!

This will be great at the NEC! No I cannot do stoppies but the young BMW lady obscured by my ample gut has hoisted me and the bike up hydraulically - will be very popular at the NEC this year!

We have often discussed anti squat geometry but this chap seems to have overlooked the need for the anti squat to be proportional to the rear thrust - see www.tracklever.com
