The last of the Turbo Ecos, No. 89, in the pits at Brno in 2008. Note the rear tailfin which was fitted to several Ecomobiles. Less obvious are the hydraulically operated outriggers. Photo: Blez

Roofed Tilting Three Wheeler at Barcelona

Commercial FFs (and prototypes which could or might yet be)
This is the 'DIC' - surely the most significant marketing name in 2008? Bob W. (A 150cc machine made in China by Xingue and already being sold in England as a Vogue; I snapped one at Beaulieu last year; see here http://www.bikeweb.com/node/1332 PNB)

Honda DN-01 at Barcelona

Honda DN-01 at BarcelonaThis one is for Ernest - the auto DN 01 from Honda - No idea why they did not put the rear brake lever on the left bar, feels weird with no lever there at all. the bike answers a question nobody asked since it does nothing better than a big scooter. Clearly based on my first VT600 Bananaskin but an auto not a manual :)_Bob W

A Pulse in England (front)

One of two Pulses spotted in Barton in July 2007. More information here: https://signup.mw.net/pulse01.shtml "There were about 347 of these made between 1980 and 1990 in Owasso Michigan. The first 20 or so were called Litestars and then the name changed to Pulse. A Pulse is a motorcycle. It rides on 2 main wheels and has 2 outrigger wheels (one on each side). It is classified in most states as a 3 wheel motorcycle. It has a 120 inch wheelbase and an overall length of 192 inches and weighs about 1000 lbs".

Dig that funky tailfin - looks as if could have been designed to decapitate passers-by! PNB

Suzuki showed this stunning cruiser-FF at Tokyo in 2003. Three years later we're still waiting for it to get to the showrooms! PNB

Axle Corp Electric FF

Commercial FFs (and prototypes which could or might yet be)
Only 2KWs of power, but the closest commercial FF to Akira's machine. No surprise it's made in Japan. Not to be confused with Ian Pegram's Genesis 650 in the UK. PNB
