1987 Eco has brakes!

After bench bleeding and then trying to pressure bleed a couple of times, Eco combined front right disc and rear disc master cylinder responded to getting the last few bubbles of air out of it by applying a bit of vacuum for a few minutes. Brilliant to have 3 disc brakes working well.

Seriously technical!

That's the way to do it! (Punch). A similar, but simpler route is to use a large plastic syringe, as used in Horse fertilisation for instance. They hold (much) more fluid than the average system requires, so a system can be pressure charged with the syringe, via the bleed nipples, until no bubbles appear in the master cylinder, and then, as required, fluid can be sucked back through the system unitl there are no bubbles at the calliper end either. This can be repeated, all without disconnecting anything. Any bubbles that appear in the syringe can be 'tapped' away from the delivery end exactly as seen on 'hospital TV' (Or your surgury).

Using warm fluid, tapping the callipers while fluid is flowing, also helps

Horses for courses

Loved the Horse fertilisation take on it. I think we had a similar issue on the Voyager front AP brakes, solved by your syringe technique.
Eco has the master cylinder in the bilge, well below axle height, so maybe that was why it was a little reluctant to give up its bubbles.
