52bhp Mk1 Cevo Scorches Dyno! (2015)

Flashback to the summer of 2015, when I took a 'learner-legal', 11kw/15bhp, C evolution to the dyno at PDQ, in Taplow. I was expecting it to put out an impressive amount of power, but I was astounded that it peaked at 52bhp! This makes it the only machine I have ever dyno tested which made more power at the rear wheel than the manufacturer claims at the crank! (It's important to understand that while the C evo is rated at only 11kw/15bhp of CONTINUOUS power, its PEAK power rating is officially 35kw/47bhp.) 52bhp is still astounding, bearing in mind that my nominally '55bhp' Burgman 650 only put out 42bhp at the rear wheel on this SAME dyno.
And my nominally 44bhp Mk2 Tmax only made 36bhp at the rear wheel (yet still managed to top out at 104mph, the same genuine top speed as the Burgman 650).
Similarly, the Honda Vultus, which uses exactly the same engine as the NC750, with a nominal 54bhp at the crank, made 42bhp at the rear wheel on this dyno.
Note that I have now uploaded the dyno chart in this same folder to prove that I am not making this up! http://bikeweb.com/node/3306
