The good news - maybe - is that FJ has been featured in the Vintage and Classic motorcycle magazine, or at least the trigger throttle has, along with this picture. Older readers will appreciate what a techtonic movement in the Classic bike scene this represents. One imagines the MV club in particular choking on their spagetti... Of course it may just mean that FJ has passed from 'futuristic' (as in 'can be ignored') to 'historic' (as in 'can be ignored'). I doubt if FJ gives a shit either way, it just thinks it's on holiday...

The bad news? Ken Leaman, Quasar designer died earlier this year, of old age, not CV19, a small mercy. Ken was one of the gentlest of men, entirely unperturbed by Malcolmes wilder moments and deserving of much greater recognition for turning his dream into the functional reality of the Quasar. Not many of the old campaigners left now...
